Notwithstanding, Glory is still showing great support for her ex-hubby, as she revealed in a recent magazine interview, she granted in the US with People Magazine.

During the interview, she said: “After all the things that she put me and my family through, I should hate this person. But at the end of the day, I still worry about how she’s taking all this.

You work things out and fight for what you love. It wasn’t about other people. It was about us.”

Glory and Brittney were married in 2015, but things did not work out between them, and their divorce was eventually finalized in 2016.

Glory did not reveal why her marriage to Brittney didn’t work out, but she did disclose that she is straight, even though she was married to Griner.

Recall that Brittney was sentenced to nine-and-a-half years in a Russian prison on charges of drug smuggling and illegal possession after a vape pen containing hash oil was found in her bag at an airport in Moscow on her way back to her Russian basketball team in February 2022.

Throughout the months of her initial incarceration and subsequent trial, several fans, NBA stars, and world leaders have stood in solidarity with her and are still actively pursuing her release from the Russians.

Brittney’s second wife, Cherelle Griner, has also been very active and vocal about her desire to have her hubby back. She has been enlisting the support of others to bring the embattled basketball star back to her family.

Although recent reports also hold that the Russians are planning to have Brittney serve as a basketball coach during her time there in prison, Cherelle and many others are not giving up hope that the ongoing prisoners’ swap negotiations between Washington and the Kremlin would go smoothly and Brittney would be home sooner than later.

One major lesson we would like to point out for everyone in these latest developments is that, no matter what your grievances are with anyone, you should never rejoice in their destruction and be willing to do any part required of you to secure their freedom if you can!

Brittney’s ex-wife, Glory, shows a level of love and maturity that even God asks of all HIS children, and we believe that it is indeed a virtue worthy of emulation by all.

God shines HIS sun and sends rain upon both the wicked and the good, and we should be equally unbiased and generous in how we help others and react to their plights, too.
