Following recent unfounded and baseless allegations and rumors that the Founder and Senior Pastor of Loveworld International Ministries, popularly known as Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, had fired his nephew for supporting the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT), it has now been revealed that this allegation is not only totally false but also spewed with malicious intent!

According to a very reliable insider, who made these disclosures and clarifications recently, Pastor Chris’s nephew, Pastor Daysman Oyakhilome Woghiren, was indeed suspended from his position as the president of Loveworld Next and Loveworld Innovation, but certainly because of his connection with BAT’s campaign group.

Recent allegations and rumors that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, had fired his nephew for supporting the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT), has now been revealed to be totally false and laced with malicious intent!

On the contrary, the young pastor has allegedly been indicted in some grievous criminal activities that have led to him being investigated by the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). And internally, he also has some cases of gross misconduct that have become public knowledge in the ministry and can no longer be hidden or tolerated.

These are the real reasons and the truth behind the firing/suspension of Pastor Daysman by his uncle, Pastor Chris, and not the tastelessly fabricated lies being spread to tarnish the image of the servant of God and his ministry.

Pastor Chris’s nephew, Pastor Daysman wasn’t fired because of his BAT association, but for having an alleged criminal case with the EFCC, and other unsavory misconducts in the church.

As a matter of fact, several appointees and elected public servants of the APC government are prominent members and workers in his church. These include Umahi of Ebonyi State, a Deacon; House of Representatives member Hon. Chike Okafor, a Pastor, and several other serving senators as well.

“There are many prominent members of all political parties in Nigeria in his congregation, and Pastor Chris has never, and will never, I repeat, preach party politics in the church,” the source firmly stated.

One crucial point to note and ponder in this matter is the fact that, as the principal shepherd appointed by God to look over that ministry, Pastor Chris has the right and obligation to God to fire anybody found in such unChristian and unsavory drama and scandals, no matter who that person is!

Don’t ever allow sentiments or the fear of what the world would say to lead you into making decisions against God and the truth you know! Stand for God against the whole world, if need be, and HE will surely vindicate, stand by, and fight for you, too!

Dear Husbands: She Is Your Wife, Not “Our Wife!”

“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” – Genesis ‭2:24‬.

This is the indisputable Word and commandment from God as regards marriage and how it should be treated by both the couple and their families, too!

Oh, and just in case you’re part of those who still do not have an understanding that Genesis to Malachi is not the “old testament” like many people claim, let me bring this to you from the “new testament” and the mouth of Jesus Christ Himself.

“And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” – Matthew ‭19:5-6‬.

And in the words of Apostle Paul, too: “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.” – Ephesians ‭5:31‬.

Now, if you go back a little in this Ephesians 5, you will notice some very interesting things and instructions that Paul gave to any man who would be a husband to a woman. You are her life, shield, and defense, and nothing should ever get to your wife without having to take you down first, and I mean literally, even by God’s Word!

Your wife is not married to your friends and surely not to your father, mother, siblings, or relatives. Hence, this silly “our wife” custom that opens her up to avoidable harm, hurts, disrespect, and unwarranted attacks must be abolished, and this is “THUS SAITH THE LORD!”

You are both commanded to “leave and cleave” to one another. Therefore, there must never be any third-party authority between you and your wife to the point where she becomes mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually abused and depressed in your home. If this ever happens, then you have failed her as her husband and her head because Christ never does that to his Bride, the Church!

Grievous to many, yes, it is, but this is God’s Word and undiluted will, and this must be your only standard in your marriage from today, dear husbands: “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.” – ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:25‬.‬

Anything short or less than this is not acceptable before God, and it should never be to you, too, seeing how you are made in HIS image and likeness.

Again, I say: Dear Husbands: She is your wife, not “our wife!” May God grant you the wisdom, patience, genuine heart, and all you need to be a man, great husband, and exemplary leader over the home God has blessed or will bless you with, too, in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN!

HIDDEN TRUTH: Vital Lesson As Manager Refutes Lies That Kizz Daniel Was Arrested & Detained In Tanzania – Reveals Other Shocking Facts, Too!

Following the reported arrest and detention of multiple award-winning Nigerian Afropop star, Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, in Tanzania over his alleged refusal to honor a contractual agreement to perform at an event, some shocking details have been revealed that prove that everything previously said about the “Buga” crooner were all exaggerated lies and misinformation!

During a recent clear-the-air session between a representative of Kizz’s Flytime Inc. Records, Folu Daniel, and the show promoter Steven Uwah, many shocking truths were disclosed during the session hosted by ace broadcaster, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze.

Recall that Steven had stated on August 9, 2022, that Kizz Daniel had arrived in Tanzania early but refused to perform because the airline he flew in with had failed to bring one of his bags where he kept his gold chain, and he could not perform without it.

Following the reported arrest and detention of Kizz Daniel in Tanzania over his alleged refusal to perform at an event, some shocking details have been revealed that prove that everything previously said were all exaggerated lies!

During the session, Steven said: “The airline had delayed Kizz and his entourage for over 8 hours in Nairobi, Kenya, and we were scampering here to book the next available flight for him so he could make it here on time for the event.

However, before we could get another flight, he texted me that they were already coming with that airline, and they got to Tanzania around 10 pm. With his performance scheduled for 3 am the following morning, Kizz was still able to get here early, but a few more hours were wasted filling out the missing bags report and form with the airline when they arrived.

As we eventually departed the airport for the hotel, I asked his technical team to proceed to the venue for their sound check. Subsequently, some technical issues came up during that which they allegedly felt would significantly affect their performance, so they pushed to have his performance postponed till the next day.

His technical manager did not tell me about those issues and later revealed to me while we were making our statements at the police station that he didn’t want to expose those technical issues before, and Kizz’s inability to perform wasn’t about the gold chain and clothes.

Recall that Steven Uwah had stated on August 9, 2022, that Kizz Daniel refused to perform because the airline he flew in with had failed to bring one of his bags where he kept his gold chain.

As a Nigerian show promoter trying to break new grounds in a foreign country, I pleaded that we go ahead with the show as planned, no matter what the situation was, because things would get messed up a lot for me if we didn’t. Eventually, Kizz agreed to go ahead with his performance and manage the technical situation anyhow he could. Still, by the time we got to the venue, the people waiting for him had become an angry mob and started destroying the place.

I didn’t mention this part before because I had also been invited to the police station over the vandalization of the venue, and my emotions were all over the place at that time. Yes, Kizz did agree to try to salvage the situation and perform at around 5 am, after we had been pleading with him for over 5 hours, as I earlier disclosed.”

When asked if he truly paid Kizz $60,000 for the show, Steven said he paid the sum in full to the agency he had booked Kizz through – Paul Okoye’s agency.

The recent clear-the-air session was hosted by ace broadcaster, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze.

However, in another twist, Kizz Daniel’s brother and Road Manager Folu Daniel immediately refuted Steven’s claim, revealing that the payment was never made in full. He also revealed that all through the time Steven alleged Kizz was being “begged to perform,” they were actually making a series of calls to several stylists and technical companies to see how they could get quick fixes for the stuff the airline had left behind. Folu affirmed that at no point did Kizz ever refuse to perform, as it had been alleged and circulated by Steven.

“Steven claims that the only deduction made on the $60,000 payment to Paul was a $4,000 payment to cover our flights and logistics, but I am unaware of that and just hearing this for the first time. He knows and can confirm that we kept doing everything within our power as soon as we got to the hotel there in Tanzania to get replacements for the band equipment and other needed valuables that were in the bags misplaced by the airline. He was right there with us, witnessing every efforts we were making, and can confirm that Kizz never refused to perform as alleged.

We were delayed at the airport in Kenya for over 8 hours and only got to the hotel in Tanzania by 1:30 am for a show scheduled for 3 am, and everyone was very exhausted. Steven knows about all this, as I made sure to keep him updated as things unfolded with us constantly.

Entertainment guru and top show promoter, Paul Okoye’s agency had handled the show booking for Steven Uwah and Kizz Daniel.

Now, the contract we agreed and signed with the booking agency clearly stated that, in the event of any eventuality beyond our control, we are allowed to reschedule the performance to another day if things are not going well.”

This last part was somehow conveniently omitted a few days ago when Steven came online to accuse Kizz of reneging on their agreement for him to perform, and these latest revelations bring up a crucial lesson for everyone to remember again:

(1) Never conclude and pass judgment on a matter until you have heard all sides of the story!

When asked if it was true that the contract allowed for rescheduling if things were not going well with the previously set date, Steven confirmed that it was. Still, he added that he failed to mention that vital part before because he was already in a mess emotionally.

“The police had come for me, too, on allegations of defrauding the government and people of Tanzania, seeing how Kizz and I are both foreigners,” he said.

On the news that Kizz was arrested and detained, Folu revealed that the artiste was never arrested or detained at any point in time, as earlier circulated in the media!

“Kizz Daniel’s name kept popping up during the investigation into the venue vandalization, so the police invited us for questions about our involvement in the matter, and that was all.

I had arranged to secure Kizz at another hotel, but he refused to leave, saying he had no reason to run or hide, and voluntarily offered to go to the police station.

Kizz Daniel will do a free concert to compensate Tanzanians, after reportedly refusing to leave their country without giving them a memorable show.

As when we had noticed that the whole set up for the show was a complete mess because there were no proper band equipment and many other things, we called the booking agency and organizer, proposed that the show be rescheduled for a later, and better date when everything needed would have been sorted.

We even offered to cover the production and new venue costs, and they both agreed! It was their part and responsibility to have gotten the crowd under control by not keeping them in the dark and explaining the new developments about a later date and venue, but they failed to do that.

When we heard that the crowd had started getting violent, Kizz even offered to go to the venue to appease them, but Paul and Steven asked him not to for safety reasons. He also offered to do a video and share it with the public so the people could see that he was in the country.

Now, after having all agreed on a postponement and everything, and even shook hands on it, we were shocked to wake up to see the police at our hotel doors in the morning, and Steven never got back to us to inform us that things had gotten out of hand,” a visibly aggrieved Folu revealed.

He concluded by saying that Flytime’s primary aim was to let the public know the truth about what happened and the current situation in Tanzania, and he is happy that they’ve gotten an avenue to let the whole world know now.

Both parties agreed to buy the hatchet and not continue to pursue the matter against each other anymore, as the deed and damages had already been done, and there was no need for continued conflict over it.

In a bid to amicably resolve the matter, a press conference was also later held on August 10, 2022, in Tanzania, where Kizz Daniel personally addressed the issue publicly with the show promoter.

Another date, August 12, 2022, has now been fixed for the show after Kizz reportedly insisted on doing a free concert and performing live for the Tanzanians before leaving their country.

From all the irrefutable facts revealed by his brother and manager about how things truly went in Tanzania and how he handled himself, we believe that Kizz Daniel is indeed an outstanding individual. Everyone who had previously accepted the lies about him owes him an apology.

Embattled American basketball superstar Brittney Griner’s recent conviction and sentencing over drug-related offenses in Russia has continued to generate many reactions worldwide, and a new conspiracy theory about the proposed prisoner exchange involving her, another American prisoner in Russian custody, and a notorious high-profile criminal held in the USA has surfaced online.

Weeks before Brittney was sentenced to 9-and-a-half years in prison for traveling into Russia while in possession of a vape oil cartridge that contained cannabis oil, Washington had reportedly proposed to secure the WNBA star and former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan’s release from Russia in exchange for the arms dealer, Viktor Bout, popularly known as the “merchant of death.”

Embattled American basketball superstar Brittney Griner’s recent conviction and sentencing over drug-related offenses in Russia has continued to generate many reactions worldwide.

The Kremlin was allegedly unresponsive to those initial moves and even reportedly deliberately frustrated the Americans until Brittney was convicted and sentenced to prison on August 4, 2022.

Since then, the Russians’ tune to the proposed swap has significantly changed to a more receptive and open one.

While many erroneously think that the Russians do not want Viktor back, here are two possible reasons why many believe they’re suddenly open to the prisoners’ exchange, with some of our observations and lessons from it, too.

A new conspiracy theory about the proposed prisoner exchange involving Brittney Griner, Paul Whelan, and Viktor Bout has surfaced online.

(1) People will do anything to secure or protect a person of interest and great value to them!

According to a US military analyst, Aleksander Golts, the Russians may suddenly be very keen to get Viktor out of prison in the US, where he has been serving a 25-year prison term since 2011 for allegedly selling weapons to a terrorist organization based in Colombia, because “his attempts to create intrigues with weaponry were based either on the support of some Russian state structures or of some highly placed people.”

If Viktor’s weapons deals were being directed or influenced by oligarchs in Russia, he is definitely too valuable to abandon in any foreign prison, talk more, an American one!

His weapons deals have allegedly been tied to many conflicts worldwide, especially in strategic areas of Russian interest, hence the possibility of this option.

This teaches us that value – whether positive or negative – is what everyone should aspire to attain. Once you are a person of value, it is almost as though some separate rules and laws apply to you as against every other person.

If indeed Viktor’s bloody arms-dealing reign was Kremlin-backed, we can all expect to see some a bit more push and aggression of sorts from the Russians to push the prisoners’ swap over the line in the coming weeks. After all, no one slays the hen that lays the golden eggs, right?

Former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan has also been allegedly imprisoned unlawfully in Russia on espionage charges since 2020, and is part of the proposed prisoners’ exchange.

(2) Never leave yourself vulnerable to possible enemy exposure for too long, lest you risk being sabotaged!

Viktor was convicted for trading arms with a Colombian terrorist organization, and these weapons were allegedly used to kill Americans in Colombia in 2011. After being sentenced in 2012, he has since served about 11 years of that prison term in an American federal prison already.

There are conflicting opinions about why the Russians may desperately want him back now that they seem to have a bargaining chip in Brittney.

While Golts believes that it may be because the Russians are afraid that a lengthy prison stay in America may break and force him to become an American spy in exchange for his freedom because “he knows too much,” a former US Defence Intelligence Agency officer Rebekah Koffler holds an opposite opinion:

Viktor Bout has been serving a 25-year prison term since 2011 in an American prison for allegedly selling weapons to a terrorist organization based in Colombia, which were used to kill Americans.

“Moscow wants him back because he possesses critical insights that he can share with the GRU, his former agency. Having been in a US prison and interrogated by US officials, he knows what our intelligence requirements are and other information that is valuable for the Russians.

It would be a big mistake for the US to give up Viktor Bout, as much as one feels compassion for Griner and Whelan,” Koffler stated.

Whichever side of this coin his current situation tilts, the fundamental lesson it presents cannot be ignored: It is very dangerous to leave yourself and your assets vulnerable to possible enemy exposure for too long, lest you risk being sabotaged!

Russia’s cunning tact may be devious and despicable. Still, there are loads of lessons to learn from their current “cold war” with the Americans over Brittney and Paul, and we are all about unearthing gems of knowledge and wisdom such as these in any situation.

Pastor Lamor Miller-Whitehead’s Robbery Points Spotlight On Very Disturbing Questions About His Life And Ministry

The Founder and Senior Pastor of the Leaders of Tomorrow Church in Brooklyn, New Jersey, USA, Pastor Lamor Miller-Whitehead, aka Bishop, and his wife were recently robbed of all their jewelry at gunpoint while he was preaching in church. The stolen jewelry is reportedly worth over $1 million.

The NYPD confirmed that investigations into the robbery are in full swing. They received reports that three people entered the church of the well renowned and very flashy pastor known for wearing designer outfits and extravagant jewelry in Brooklyn and robbed him and his wife at gunpoint.

Pastor Lamor Miller-Whitehead and his wife were recently robbed of all their jewelry reportedly worth over $1 million at gunpoint while he was preaching in church.

A video of the robbery incident, which has now been deleted on the church’s live stream, reportedly captured a moment when one of the robbers interrupted the Pastor’s sermon and held a gun to him, forcing him to lower himself to the ground.

While recounting his ordeal to the media, Pastor Lamor disclosed that he told the robber that he would cooperate with them so that his parishioners won’t get hurt.

“I got women and children there. As I got down, one went to my wife and took all her jewelry and had the gun in front of my 8-month-old baby’s face,” he reportedly told them.

“Took off my bishop’s ring, my wedding band and took off my bishop chain, and then I had chains underneath my robe. He started tapping my neck to see if (there was) anything else, which means they knew; they watched and knew that I have other jewelry. My church is traumatized,” he added.

Are there reasons to suspect or doubt the “man of God’s” integrity as a minister and person after he was also recently accused of stealing $90,000 from his church member?

He also disclosed that the gunmen held up his deacons at the door, too, while they robbed him and his wife.

According to the NYPD, there were about 20 to 25 congregants present when the robbery took place. The perpetrators left the church on foot before reportedly entering a white Mercedes-Benz vehicle which was seen traveling eastbound on Avenue D.

Pastor Lamor founded the Leaders of Tomorrow Church in 2013 after obtaining his license as a New York State Chaplain and a certified marriage and funeral officiant. He had attended the New York Theological Seminary and completed his studies with a certificate in Ministry in Human Services from the Theological Institution of Rising Hope Inc.

He was also allegedly adopted as a mentee by the current Mayor of New York, Eric Adams, who is also the former Brooklyn Borough President.

A statement released by the Mayor said: “No one in this city should be the victim of armed robbery, let alone our faith leaders and congregants worshiping in a House of God.

The NYPD is investigating this crime and will work tirelessly to bring the criminals involved to justice.”

His experience, the reactions it has generated since the robbery occurred, and many other things about him raise a few questions in our minds, and we would like to share them with you below:

The church member reportedly had to report him to the police and sued him for his “morally repugnant activities” and making her “lose her whole life savings.”

(1) What kind of believer wears flashy and attention-seeking outfits and jewelry, let alone a pastor?

As children of God, or supposed children, we are guided by HIS Word on all that concerns our lives. So, let’s take a look at these critical scriptures that addresses this issue quite directly:

“Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.” – 1 Peter ‭3:3-4‬.

And before you think or say that this one above refers to women (which does not imply in any way that men are exempted, though), here’s what Paul also has to say about being modest as Christians:

“Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.” – ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:5‬.‬

From the above scripture alone, it is already quite evident that this popular Brooklyn pastor is living in great error. Sadly, he is teaching and influencing others in his congregation and beyond towards the same.

Like, his excessiveness was so known, the robbers knew to tap his chest for more jewelry beneath his shirt because they already knew him to be a “stunner” like that.

According to reports, Pastor Lamor’s verified Instagram page is also filled with his extravagant displays of wealth, including Louis Vuitton-emblazoned suits, large jewelry, and flashy cars.

He also reportedly reacted to recent media headlines referring to him as “flashy,” saying: “It’s not about me being flashy. It’s about me purchasing what I want to purchase.

It’s my prerogative to purchase what I want to purchase. If I worked hard for it, I can purchase what I want to purchase.”

Abraham was so wealthy, yet he chose to dwell in tents – “For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” (Read Hebrews ‭11:9-10‬).

This is the testimony about Abraham, one of the fathers of our faith, but the former is the testimony regarding a supposed pastor allegedly leading God’s flock nowadays? Jesus wept!

Brooklyn DA’s office officials allegedly sent Pastor Lamor a “cease-and-decease letter” in November 2014, which marked the end of his alleged “charity organization.”

(2) What did the early Church do consistently with its wealth?

There are no official or known records of Pastor Lamor’s charities; non-profit organizations set up to empower and transform the lives of other people in his church and the society, or even any foundations established to help rehabilitate and change the lives of addicts – that abound in Brooklyn, New York City, by the way.

Even the only renowned charity activity he was involved with reportedly turned out to be “suspicious to authorities after the pastor claimed to have promoted a collaborative justice initiative with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office in 2014.”

According to reports, Brooklyn DA’s office officials allegedly sent the pastor a “cease-and-decease letter” in November 2014, which marked the end of that alleged “charity.”

And now, he can afford to buy jewelry worth over $1 million and many other expensive luxurious things, which he reportedly flaunts online because he “can afford them,” right?

The simple question here again is: How does he, in any way, resemble any of the fathers of this same faith that was later called “Christianity” due to how the believers of old were so much like Christ?

“And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.” – Acts ‭2:44-45‬.

His own money is for costly jewelry and lavish living, but how many of his parishioners and others around him are benefiting from this wealth he so carelessly flaunts around?

(3) What kind of pastor steals from his flock?

After news of the robbery at Pastor Lamor’s church started trending, another angle came up that has us quite alarmed and bewildered.

According to reports, a 57-year-old member of his church sued him for $1 million in 2021 after he allegedly defrauded her of $90,000, claiming he “wanted to help her procure a home despite her poor credit records.”

The woman named Pauline Anderson reportedly later found out she had been duped when the pastor mistakenly sent her son an email detailing his plans to buy a $4.4 million house for himself in Saddle River. Even after discovering his scam, he still went ahead to purchase a $4.5 million apartment building in Hartford, Connecticut, as the Saddle River purchase eventually fell through.

Pauline reportedly had to report him to the police and sued him for his “morally repugnant activities” and making her “lose her whole life savings.”

We’ve known legendary thieves like Robin Hood, who robbed the rich to empower the poor. Sadly, nowadays, the church and pulpit have been weaponized into an instrument to rob the poor that came to God and the church for help.

The suit against him is still in court, according to reports, but the fact that Pastor Lamor is an ex-convict who was jailed for five years for grand larceny and fraud before “turning to faith” doesn’t bode well for him on this matter at all.

If this new allegation against him is true, we can only ask again: What kind of shepherd steals from his flock?!

In conclusion, we must add, though, that Pastor Lamor is not the only one guilty of haven completely deviated from the original faith that made the people of Antioch coin the word “Christian” when they witnessed the faith of the early believers.

Getting robbed at gunpoint is not a pleasurable experience, and we do not wish it on anyone, no matter how wrong they live.

However, being a voice for unbiased and unreserved truth, we urge everyone who claims to be called by the name of God to please live true to it! It’s high time we all start representing our faith well and be examples of what it truly means to be a “Christian” indeed.

God Answers Prayers In Unattractive Ways – Don’t Lose Faith And Never Stop Praying!

“But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” – Hebrews ‭11:6‬.

Hello, my beloved people. How has your weekend been? This scripture above took over my mind as I thought about what to share with you all today.

I believe that there is someone here that God wants to gift something truly magnificent, but you’re struggling with accepting and embracing it because it is not in the physical “package” or “finished product” you want.

My dear, please don’t make the mistake of following God with your human mind. There is absolutely no way you can ever comprehend or understand his ways with your reasoning!

This is why HE demands that all who would follow and walk with HIM must do so by faith! You must never stop asking, trusting, and believing that HE has the best in store for you, and HE will give it to you because HE wants to!

God answers prayers in unattractive ways and seemingly flawed packages for many reasons. Today, I want to talk about two of them below, and I pray you to follow diligently and find the strength you need in HIS Word here.

(1) God wants you to trust HIM enough to know and believe that HE can never fail you or give you something less than excellent and perfect for you!

God has spoken and even promised severally in HIS Word that HIS thoughts towards us are good and not evil and to bring us to our expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). The challenge many of us have is that we do not trust HIM enough to take care of us.

If you’re in a place today where you’re battling with what you think is good for you and the apparent choice God has laid in your spirit and also confirmed with witnesses (remember 2 Corinthians 13:1?), I need you to stop for a second and think – Can you ever be wiser or smarter than God?

Besides, hasn’t HE also promised all HIS children: “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” – Proverbs ‭23:18‬. So, why are you still bothered and struggling with HIS leading and instructions?

In all honesty, it is never easy to follow God’s Word and lead completely; I know, and I’m not pretending or denying that it is. However, I am assuring you that life is most beautiful whenever you yield yourself completely and follow HIM!

Yes, that thing will or may not look like what you want initially. But, if HE led you and gave it to you, have faith, trust HIM, go through whatever process that thing may require, and you will end up with a gem that the entire world will covet and desire from you on your hands!

(2) It’s HIS way of building our faith in HIM, and there’s a track record of this all through the lineage of faith.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” – ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:8-9‬.‬

Do you remember when Pharaoh had a disturbing dream, and all his magicians and wise men failed to give him any relief? Where did the peace he, and indeed the whole world, needed come from? Potiphar’s dungeon! Oh, and he was a Hebrew boy, too – one race that Egyptians detest so much and cannot hide their contempt for!

Remember when Israel had prayed that God sends them a mighty deliverer who would free them from slavery in the hands of the great Pharaoh for over 400 years? Guess who came along – a lean-looking stammerer who could barely put five words together by himself without stuttering, baring a shepherd’s staff. Ridiculous, isn’t it?

Israel’s champion and deliverer from the hands of the mighty Goliath was a ruddy 17-year-old boy who had never been to war or even a battle before in his entire life, remember?

Or what about when they longed for the Messiah and great king who would free them from Roman tyranny, and the Saviour just had to come in a manger and even as a lowly carpenter’s son too!

The list is endless, but from how all these few instances ended, I hope you already get my point. God knows exactly what you need, and HE will give you the very best.

Your part is to pray without ceasing “until your joy is full,” HE says: “Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” – ‭‭John‬ ‭16:24‬. ‬

How HE will do it is not your business. Your part is never to stop asking and persisting in prayers for what you desire (according to HIS will, too, though), and HE will come through for you.

God loves you with everlasting love, and HE wants the best for you always. Don’t quit and never get frustrated over human or physical appearances and situations. God’s got you covered!

Heavenly Father, please help your children always to know that all you want for them is the best in all things, and help them to keep their minds rested on you in all things, in Jesus Christ’s holy name; Amen.

Enyinnaya Onuegbu Promoted Or Demoted By Hope Uzodinma?

I hadn’t wanted to react to the reappointment of my good friend and brother, Barr Enyinnaya Onuegbu.

Would I say I received the news with mixed feelings? Should I congratulate a man who has been demoted? That has been the major inner battle I had to contend with before I decided to put pen to paper.

To some people, the reappointment of Barr Enyinnaya Onuegbu into the cabinet of Senator Hope Uzodinma is a welcome development.

For them, at least Enyinnaya is not outside anymore and can now be getting some stipend from the governor.

Then I wonder, is Enyinnaya that desperate or low in cash that he would take anything just to be in power, least of all a position abandoned by Batos Nwadike?

I’m not saying that Enyinnaya would not do very well as Uzodinma’s political adviser; he would do perfectly well in any position he finds himself.

Barr Enyinnaya Onuegbu is one of the smartest people to have ever worked with Senator Hope Uzodinma.

But for me, the position of an SA is a demotion for a man who once held Commissioner positions in the Uzodinma administration and once upon a time had the governor’s ear before those who felt threatened by his rising profile probably conspired and kicked him out of office.

I remember those electioneering days when Enyinnaya was always on national TV, projecting Senator Hope Uzodinma.

He was practically Uzodinma’s legal and media figure and did a great deal in endearing the people to a rather unpopular Uzodinma.

When nobody stepped up, it was Enyinna that took the bull by the horn and clamped down on property looted by Okorocha.

Of course, his rising profile caught the eyes of the Douglas House cabal headed by Chinasa, who wouldn’t stand anybody being a competition to the love he enjoys from Uzodinma; hence Enyinnaya had to go.

Probably the same thing that happened to Innocent Ikpamezie, who once bragged that he was one of five people in Imo State who would speak and Uzodinma would listen.

I remember Enyinnaya once aspired for the Federal House of Representatives even though Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha stopped him when he was in PDP. What prevents Uzodinma from pushing Enyinnaya for that position, knowing he enjoys the love and affection of his people of Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency?

Taking somebody from a Commissioner position to an SA position, as demeaning and degrading as that is, Enyinnaya’s acceptance, if you ask me, spells a form of desperation that “at all at all make I manage this one rather than not eat at all.”

If my dear brother Barr Enyinnaya Onuegbu feels I should congratulate him for his appointment, then I hereby extend a reluctant congratulations to him but stating emphatically that Uzodinma should have done better for a man who has always remained solidly behind him.

Russia Allegedly Received “Substantial Swap Offer” From The US For Brittney Griner Since June But Have Refused To Bulge!

The United States of America Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently announced that the USA has officially opened prisoner swap talks with Russia for jailed WNBA star Brittney Griner and former Marine Paul Whelan, who has also been detained in Russia since 2018 on charges of espionage.

Anthony reportedly disclosed that the prisoner swap is supposed to include convicted Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, who is popularly known as the “Merchant Of Death.”

However, during the disclosure made after Brittney’s last appearance in court on July 27, 2022, Anthony also revealed that Washington had made this “significant trade offer” for the basketball star “months after she was arrested in Moscow airport for allegedly carrying hashish oil.”

Although the US Department of Justice is allegedly kicking against the reported swap plan because it is against its policy to trade prisoners, it has received the blessing and full backing of President Joe Biden.

“We communicated a substantial offer that we believe could be successful based on a history of conversations with the Russians. We expressed that a number of weeks ago, in June.

It is now in Russia’s court to be responsive to it, yet at the same time, that does not leave us passive, as we continue to communicate the offer at very senior levels,” Anthony said.

Former Marine Paul Whelan, who has also been detained in Russia since 2018 on charges of espionage, is also included in the prisoner swap.

There has been considerable pressure on the White House by the families of Brittney and Paul to secure their release at any cost possible, and Washington had maintained that getting them out has been a top priority.

Many other Americans do not share the optimism of going through with this prisoner swap, though, as they feel it would “paint a target on the backs of American citizens worldwide, and incentivize their arrest and kidnapping.”

This view was expressed by Republican Representative Mike Waltz, who also spoke to reporters on July 27, 2022, after Anthony’s announcement.

According to Mike, “authoritarian governments will increasingly see Americans abroad as bargaining chips amid U.S. officials seeking a deal with Russia for the release of imprisoned WNBA player Brittney Griner.”

The prisoner swap has already been sanctioned by POTUS, and all that is left is seemingly in the hands of the Russians.

While it is excellent news that the Biden administration has finally done more than talk about bringing Brittney and Paul home, the disturbing part is that Moscow is reenacting “Cold War” tactics on the deal by being quiet on the swap offer!

It doesn’t look like Russia wants to go ahead with the proposed prisoner swap haven reportedly received the proposal in June 2022 and kept mute about it.

This could be a ploy for Moscow to squeeze more out of Washington on the deal, though, so we can all only but wait and see where they are headed with this present “cold shoulder” treatment.

From all indications, there will be no easy way out of this for Brittney, as it is reported that there can be no exchange for her until her trial is over.

Whatever the Russians are up to with her detention, they may choose to frustrate the Americans by prolonging the trial till whenever pleases them.

Whichever way it goes, the WNBA star is the one who gets to suffer for it as she waits in detention till the trial is over.

This serves as a reminder to everyone to always walk circumspectly and be extra careful with the way we live and the things we do, especially whenever we’re leaving or not within our comfort or influence zones!

Living well and doing the right thing always shouldn’t also be restricted to whenever you’re in your sphere of influence, too, though.

This is because what you do consistently becomes a part of your subconscious mind; hence you will end up repeating those things unknowingly, even in places you may never mean to, as Brittney did with the vape cartridges “accidentally left” in her luggage.

Brittney Griner Finally Testifies In Drug Charge Trial – Is The White House Doing Enough For Her?

The world eventually got to witness American WNBA superstar Brittney Griner’s long-awaited testimony in the drug trafficking trial against her in a Moscow court on July 27, 2022, in Russia, as she faces the possibility of spending 10 years in prison if convicted.

Appearing in a black Nike “Phoenix Basketball” hooded sweater, Brittney was flanked by Russian security personnel as she made her way to the courtroom, which was already teeming with scores of newsmen and reporters.

The day’s session opened with her cross-examination by the defense counsel, who has repeatedly argued that Brittney “packed her bags quickly and didn’t intend to bring the vape canisters into Russia.”

They’ve also previously tried to establish that the basketball star “uses medicinal marijuana to help with injury pain like many other international athletes.”

While recreational and medicinal cannabis is legal in many American states, they are prohibited in Russia. Brittney was arrested at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport after Russian authorities reportedly found vape canisters with cannabis oil in her luggage in February 2022.

The basketball star facing the possibility of 10 years in prison if convicted said that she was made to sign documents they refused to translate to her at the airport.

During her cross-examination, Brittney recounted the events that transpired on the day she arrived and was arrested and detained by security at the Moscow airport on February 17, 2022.

She also disclosed that she was not allowed to call or speak to her lawyers till the next day, was never read her rights, and was made to sign some documents she did not understand. According to her, her phone was confiscated, and her lawyers were not allowed to see her until the early hours of the following day.

“At that point, it felt like I was being held against my will. I asked again what’s going on and when can I see my lawyer. I was then told I have to be interrogated,” Brittney added.

During her grilling by the prosecuting counsel, the Phoenix Mercury and a two-time Olympic gold medalist was asked if she had pleaded guilty to drug smuggling, and she answered: “I do understand charges against me, I do take responsibility for them being in my bag, but I didn’t plan on bringing anything to Russia.”

Her next hearing is scheduled for August 2, 2022, and as the world awaits the outcome and watches on, we would like to ask this important question again:

Now, if Washington can truly get Brittney and any other citizen detained in Russia quickly, why has President Biden been dragging his feet over the matter since February?

A note in passing to everyone as we conclude this now, though: Again, we must mention that having played for quite a while in Russia during the WNBA off-seasons, Brittney must have already known the laws of the nation she frequently visited.

If she had been careful enough to ensure that she didn’t pack any contrabands – prescribed, mistakenly, or not – in her luggage, we wouldn’t be having this conversation right now, and the whole world would be berating Russia over Ukraine only, but, oh well…

Embattled American basketball star Brittney Griner appeared briefly in court for her drug trial in Russia on July 26, 2022. Still, her scheduled testimony was moved forward to July 27, 2022, by her defense team, who requested that the athlete be given a little more time to prepare for her testimony.

Speaking to the media after the court session, one of her lawyers, Alexander Boykov, said: “Griner will testify tomorrow, and after that, it’s her decision whether she answers any questions or not.”

Her defense team remains firm on their argument that the cannabis oil found in her luggage was for medicinal purposes, and prosecutors will reportedly also have an opportunity to question her when she takes to the stands.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist, who made a brief court appearance at the Khimki court of the Moscow region where her defense team presented evidence, also had a lovely message for her wife, Cherelle. The latter reportedly recently graduated from law school.

Recall that Brittney faces up to 10 years in a Russian prison after pleading guilty to drug charges earlier in July. However, her defense team called a key witness who testified on her behalf during today’s hearing which lasted for about one hour.

The witness, a narcologist named Mikhail Tetyushkin, told the court that, based on the WNBA player’s prescription, it is likely she used the cannabis oil found in her luggage for medical purposes rather than recreational purposes.

Brittney, who had arrived in court holding up two photographs in a clear, plastic sleeve, said they were photos of her wife, two best friends, and teammates.

According to him, “medical cannabis is a popular treatment specifically among athletes in many countries outside Russia.”

Mikhail told the court that there is no global standard on the quantity of cannabinoids in medical marijuana while also educating the court about how athletes use it to treat chronic pain. He added that its frequent use or abuse could have side effects for a professional, like relaxation and inhibition of reaction times, and Brittney does not have any of these symptoms.

Another member of Brittney’s legal team, Maria Blagovolina, also argued that the initial report from the prosecution’s expert witness was “inconsistent and not according to scientific and legal standards.”

The two-time Olympic gold medalist also had a lovely message for her wife, Cherelle, who reportedly recently graduated from law school.

Blagovolina said the report from the prosecution’s expert witness did not determine the quantitative content of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in the cannabis oil found in Griner’s luggage. THC is the principal psychoactive substance in cannabis.

When the hearing concluded, Blagovolina said Tetyushkin “explained that in various countries — namely in the US — medical cannabis is a popular treatment specifically among athletes.”

“Thus, with the prescription in place, Brittney may have used it for medical but not recreational purposes,” Blagovolina added.

This latest hearing is the WNBA star’s 5th in her ongoing criminal trial which is reportedly expected to be concluded “early next month” (August), according to her lawyers. The US Embassy Charge d’Affaires Elizabeth Rood was in attendance during today’s court session.

Some shocking facts were again mentioned during the recent hearing, and it raises an alarming prospect and question in our minds:

This admission is as bewildering as it is baffling, and it surely gives us a strong feeling that something fishy seems to be in play here. Sadly, her legal team is either part of the plot, or they’re simply too naive about how dirty Russians can play when they are bent on getting something!

According to reports, during a recent survey of the rate of successful convictions in the Russian legal system, it was discovered that over 98% of every case where the defendant pleaded guilty always ended in a conviction against them, as their plea is firmly counted as an admission of guilt and any other factors are waved aside.

Do those Russian attorneys who allegedly recommended that Brittney plead guilty to the drug charges against her not know this fact – which is impossible, by the way – or what exactly is going on in her case?

A statement released by her lawyers today said: “Brittney sets an example of being brave. She decided to take full responsibility for her actions as she knows that she is a role model for many people.

Considering the nature of her case, the insignificant amount of the substance, and BG’s personality and history of positive contributions to global and Russian sport, the defense hopes that the court will consider the plea as a mitigating factor and there will be no severe sentence.”

Will this “hope” of theirs be enough to rescue the WNBA star from what is starting to look like a trap she’s fallen into already, or will she be convicted and sentenced to a torturous 10 years in a Russian hell hole? We will bring you more updates after her testimony and hearing on July 27, 2022.
