Chief (Lady) Edith Ezeala| Dishonor Immediately After Demise – What Entitlements Do Chieftaincies Give Again In Our Beloved Nigeria?

Dishonor Immediately After Demise – What Entitlements Do Chieftaincies Give Again In Our Beloved Nigeria?

The scripture indeed says one thing about every living mortal: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” – Hebrews‬ ‭9‬:‭27‬.

However, even with this realization that we will all depart this realm one day, it still behooves us as individuals, families, and society to ensure that we live honestly and right as though we would live forever. This is because, frankly, although a man may die and move on to the “great beyond,” as the saying goes, our works, achievements, and deeds become the legacies that we leave behind, and they live on after us for centuries to come.

This realization and knowledge are why I have and will always speak the truth at all times and without fear or favor, no matter whose ox is gored. No matter how influential or powerful we may feel or think we are, none of all that can ever transit beyond this life, and it all ends at our graves. So, the “watchman” in me has seen another atrocious anomaly and travesty being committed in our lands again. And, as is my nature, I will not hesitate to sound the alarm of truth to all concerned and even beyond!

Chief Lady Edith Chioma Ezeala, Osodieme 1 Of Osuama & Ezumoha, Isiala Mbano, Imo State, Nigeria 🇳🇬

To begin, I have this nagging question in my heart that begs an answer: Are there any true and lasting benefits that a chieftaincy title bestows on anyone it is conferred on again in this nation called Nigeria? What is the advantage of being a titled chief to a person who attains that supposed honor and to the children and family they leave behind upon their demise?

I ask these questions today, not as a complete novice to how chieftaincies work, but as a concerned and disturbed crusader for truth, equity, justice, and fairness to all regardless of their age, sex, social status, religion, family background, or any other factor.

It would behoove you to know that I have over 30 chieftaincy titles in my native Imo State, Lagos State, and several other States in Nigeria, but there are no entitlements! So, I reiterate that these questions are not uninformed babblings but are born out of deep sadness and yearning to know: Why is there no truth anywhere again?

Late Chief Lady Edith’s burial at her husband’s compound in Ezumoha, Isiala Mbano, Imo State, Nigeria 🇳🇬

As you may rightly be wondering, my case is the matter of the former “Osodieme” in Osu-ama and Ezumoha, Isiala Mbano, Imo State, Nigeria, the late Chief Mrs. Chioma Edith Ezeala Nee Chiji. As many may already be aware, the late Chief Ezeala passed away on November 7, 2022, and was finally laid to rest in a befitting ceremony recently January 6, 2023.

However, what many do not know is that, while the late Osodieme was yet interring at the morgue, the “wise” ruler and elders of Ezumoha had already looked around at their next “chieftaincy victim” and conferred the Osodieme title on her even before the children of the late one got to lay their mother’s remains to rest.

If this is not cynical, insensitive, callous, disrespectful, selfish, corrupt, and morally bankrupt to anyone else, then I do not mind standing alone on and by this truth! This act reeks of disrespect and dishonor to the late chief, her family, her children, her friends, her associates, and everything she stood for in that community! And, it is even more sinister when you consider that all these greedy, belly-led, and selfish so-called elders and ruler wants is just another pawn they can readily use to gain an audience with the Imo State governor.

The body of Chief Lady Edith Ezeala arrived at her husband’s compound.

Another question is that all through the life of the late Osodieme that erstwhile availed them this connection and more, what remarkable good and development did they use to impart the community and better the lives of the average person living there? Of course, the only beneficiaries of this connection they so greedily covet have always been themselves alone. Hence they had zero regards for “common sense,” morality, or even tradition as they scrambled to secure another “government house pawn” to continue aiding their devious agendas.

This is a huge shame and a disgrace to everything we should stand for as Africans and a people supposedly with a rich cultural heritage and pride. And, I keep wondering, if the Igwe (king) had lost his moral compass or was already complicit by way of whatever was influencing him, why can’t any of his chiefs and elders call him to order and let him know that this is a travesty that should never be done?

Is there no voice of truth again in our courts and high places? Even God condemns this immorality: “The king by judgment establisheth the land: But he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.” – Proverbs‬ ‭29‬:‭4‬.

Service held for Lady Edith Ezeala in the United States 🇺🇸 in her church.

And in another scripture, it is also written: “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, Feet that be swift in the running to mischief,” – Proverbs‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬, ‭18‬.

These two passages make it pretty evident that God is only pleased with a ruler who is fair and equitable at all times and not one who is easily corrupted and subverted by gifts or promises of such vanities. Such is a heart that devises wickedness and feet that are swift to organize mischief like immediately conferring a chieftaincy title on someone else while the late owner of such yet remains unburied. It is inappropriate and highly ridiculous!

Yes, we know that “dead men tell no tales,” and whoever is dead is gone and has no need or use for human titles. However, doesn’t it look so inept and grossly insensitive of so-called elders to dishonor and disrespect the departed’s loved ones, family, legacy, and even the dead’s memory with such a despicable action as this?

Chief Lady Edith Ezeala’s Beautiful Children

As much as there are differences between “title chiefs” and “ceremonial chiefs,” nothing on this planet could ever justify this brazen act of impunity by this community ruler and elders! I mean, this decision has nothing to do with the development and sound of the land but only to lace their greedy pockets. However, must they now make it so apparent and be rubbing it in the people’s faces?

Many have also observed these recent events but have kept quiet about them for reasons best known to them. God forbid I ever see the truth and not speak out for it anywhere, anytime, and no matter who is involved!

I have nothing I seek or lobby from any man because all I’ve ever and will ever need comes from God. Hence, I will always speak the truth and never be silenced or intimidated. I need nothing from no one, for God is my source and light! And I am BLESSED.

Again I ask this pertinent question: What exactly does being a chief offer again in this generation and country? Once a thing of great pride and reverence, it has now become a trophy awarded to the highest bidder or most valuable pawns.

May the good Lord of all creation be merciful to us all…Amen!

The New Osodieme of Ezumoha, Mrs. Akano from Umuakam, Ezumoha, Isiala Mbano, Imo State, Nigeria 🇳🇬

Continue to rest in peace, my beautiful and charming wife, friend, associate, and lioness, Lady Edith Chioma Ezeala. You were the bedrock of your families, both in your father’s house and in your husband’s place, and you raised champions, Dozie, Tochi, and Dr. Nene. You raised a banker, entrepreneur, economist, lawyer, and brilliant medical doctor. You came, you lived, fought, and conquered!

Your Wife Is A Vital Key To Your Success & Growth In Life – Choose Wisely!

Your Wife Is A Vital Key To Your Success & Growth In Life – Choose Wisely!

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. This is the day of joy and salvation, and I trust that you and yours have started it on a great note, too.

I’ve been pretty occupied lately as preparations for the year-end holidays are in full gear. However, I have also been quite keen on knowing what God would have me share with you today, and the message today is mainly for our younger men who are yet to be married – and the ladies, too.

The Prophet Amos said: “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” – ‭‭Amos‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬. While many are always quick to quote this particular passage when trying to counsel young and intending couples, not everyone sees the depth of what God is saying here through Amos. ‬

What does this “agreement” signify and fully stand for? Is it only about the consent a lady is required to give to her man’s proposal and her acceptance to be with him till death do them part? Well, I want to tell you today that it is not, and I also trust God to help us see a hidden truth here clearly.

While the “agreement” Amos talks about in this passage involves an affirmative answer to all those questions I asked above, it extends beyond that into some much more profound questions that also need to be asked and answered in the affirmative. These include questions like: What are your life goals – short, mid, and long term? What are your financial goals? How ambitious are you – mentally, financially, spiritually, and even physically? Are you always content with the barest average, or would you rather only have the best always? How many children do you plan to have? What is your stand on infidelity and polygamy? What is your view and perspective on divorce?

So many other deep questions like these need to be asked and sorted out before a final commitment to that union is made, or else there is grave danger lurking in the future, especially for the man. Why?

“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” – Genesis ‭2‬:‭18‬.

Now, what do you think will befall a man who unsuspectingly or stubbornly marries a woman who is wrong for him? A man’s partner greatly determines what he will become in every area of his life and how far he will go in it, too. Remember what the scriptures say in Ecclesiastes 4?

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.

For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.

Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?

And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” – Ecclesiastes ‭4‬:‭9‬-‭12‬.

It is bad enough for any man that falls when he is alone, but I also assure you that it is even more terrible for any man that falls when he is with the wrong woman and wife in his life! Great men like Samson, Ahab, and the like can attest to how deadly it can be when you find yourself hitched to the wrong woman for life.

My dear young ones, don’t just marry because your intended partner is beautiful, sexy, and has an hourglass figure. Can that person you’re pining for help you with ideas and solutions when your business is down or is she only good for the gram as a slay queen? Does she have strengths that compliments your weaknesses, or she’s only a bundle of flaws and a total liability?

Your partner should have the same philosophy and be someone who can align with your goals in life. Your partner must be someone you can join forces with to build, not a weak link you have to drag along your whole life continually.

Such a life is burdensome, tiring, extremely sad, and completely far from what God’s plans and desires are for your life, my darling brothers (and sisters, too), and I want to urge you today to do everything within your power to avoid this life and destiny-wrecking mistake, please!

May God grant you great grace, calmness, wisdom, and peace as you seek out that help-meet and suitable for your lives, and may HE cause every deception and evil illusion before you be destroyed and your paths made straight, in the name of Jesus Christ; Amen!

Remain richly blessed always.

Delay Is Not Denial – Russia, USA Swap Brittney Griner For Victor Bout, But Who Really Facilitated Her Release?

Delay Is Not Denial – Russia, USA Swap Brittney Griner For Victor Bout, But Who Really Facilitated Her Release?

After being incarcerated for 294 days in a Russian prison, famous American basketball star Brittney Griner was finally released in a single prisoner swap involving her and the convicted notorious Russian arms dealer, Victor Bout, on December 8, 2022.

Sadly, though, the prisoner swap deal did not include former US Marine Paul Whelan as it had been widely touted and expected before. Paul was tried and convicted on espionage charges in Russia and has been imprisoned since December 2018.

Famous American basketball star Brittney Griner was finally released in a single prisoner swap involving her and the convicted notorious Russian arms dealer, Victor Bout, on December 8, 2022.

Speaking at the White House in the company of Cherelle Griner, Brittney’s wife, US President Joe Biden disclosed that the WNBA star was safe and on a plane home from the United Arab Emirates.

“I’m glad to say Brittney’s in good spirits. She needs time and space to recover. After months of being unjustly detained in Russia, held under intolerable circumstances, Brittney will soon be back in the arms of her loved ones, and she should have been there all along,” he said.

Concerning Paul, President Biden said: “This was not a choice of which American to bring home. Sadly, for totally illegitimate reasons, Russia is treating Paul’s case differently than Brittney’s. And while we have not yet succeeded in securing Paul’s release, we are not giving up. We will never give up.”

US President Joe Biden disclosed that the WNBA star was safe and on a plane home from the United Arab Emirates.

While Brittney is reportedly expected to land in San Antonio, Texas, Victor has already arrived safely in Moscow, according to the Russian media. The high-profile prisoner swap deal was executed in Abu Dhabi, and there have been some conflicting reports over the extent of the involvement of the Arab nations in the negotiations.

In a joint statement reportedly released by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabian governments, the Gulf countries claim to have played a pivotal part in getting the swap deal over the line.

According to another report, the heir to Saudi’s throne, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is good friends with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, were highly instrumental in mediating between Moscow and Washington for this deal that has seen Brittney and Victor freed.

Cherelle Griner, Brittney’s wife, was also at the White House when President Biden made the announcement.

Washington has flatly debuted these reports, though, with the White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre saying: “The only countries that negotiated this deal were the United States and Russia.”

Be that as it may, in all these developments, there are a few vital lessons for everyone to observe and learn from this excellent news for Brittney, her family, friends, well-wishers worldwide, and even neutral observers as well. They include:

(1) God can use anything and anyone to facilitate the miracle, breakthrough, victory, and testimony you earnestly seek and pray for.

And the best part is that it wouldn’t even get to matter who it was anymore by the time your deliverance comes. Today, as things stand, Washington still denies any Arab involvement as mediators between them and Moscow. However, the top-dollar question is: Is Brittney finally home or not, and does she really care how or who got it done right now? We can bet the answer to this is a resounding no!

Stop trying to tell God who to use or how to direct your path; that’s not within your job description or business. Just trust HIM at all times, and that which you long for will surely come eventually.

Sadly, though, the prisoner swap deal did not include former US Marine Paul Whelan as it had been widely touted and expected before.

(2) Delay is indeed not denial!

There was a time during this eventually successful negotiations when it didn’t look like Brittney would be getting out of that Russian prison at all. However, the story and outcome are totally different from those earlier fears, and now we can all see…

Even if what you’re longing and praying for seems stuck and never forthcoming, don’t you ever throw in the towel and quit because your desired answers and requests may seem delayed, but it can never be denied!

The seemingly impossible dream of regaining her freedom sooner than later has now become a reality for Brittney Griner, and her story holds many more lessons for as many as would choose to learn.

According to President Biden, his administration will continue to work tirelessly and will not relent until they secure the release of Paul Whelan, too. We will be bringing you updates regarding this as things unfold.

An “Educated” Child Is An Invaluable Asset – Protect Your Heritage

An “Educated” Child Is An Invaluable Asset – Protect Your Heritage

There is a famous African saying about parenting and finance, and it’s been playing on repeat in my mind for a few weeks now.

Our elders in Africa say: “The child you refuse to train today will sell off all you labored for tomorrow,” and I couldn’t agree more. An educated child is a gem and an invaluable asset to their parents, and I do not mean or refer to our regular formal education system.

“Education” means to “Educe – unearth, bring out, and polish that innate talent and ability” in a person. Hence, the “education” that I am referring to here is that which would help your children not only properly manage the wealth you create in your life but also go on to generate more and continue to prosper long after you’re gone.

According to the proverbs of Solomon: “A wise son maketh a glad father: But a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.” – Proverbs ‭10‬:‭1‬. Helping your sons and daughters grow financially begins with the deliberate steps you take towards “educing” their financial gifts and abilities, especially at their tender ages.

In these highly volatile and unpredictable economic climes we live in today, teaching young people financial education and how to manage crisis early is no longer optional but compulsory. As a matter of fact, as things stand presently, all leaders, parents, and schools should recommend life-changing, motivating, and highly instructional books like Soul Tonic – A Daily Motivational & Inspirational Guide (Vol. 1), The Richest Man In Babylon, Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and others like them to their lads early enough.

Simply put, every child you bring into this world must be financially literate and astute. And to achieve this goal, you must know what it means well enough to start with. Now, financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills and tools, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. The meaning of financial literacy is the foundation of your relationship with money, and it is a lifelong journey of learning.

According to the Financial Literacy and Education Commission, there are five critical components of financial literacy that one must be conversant and proficient with: earning, spending, saving and investing, borrowing, and protecting.

Also, there are four vital things one needs to practice to become proficient at handling finances, and no child is ever too small to start learning these already:

(1) Mental Toughness – A mentally weak person can never manage their life properly, let alone effectively handle, manage, generate, grow, and retain wealth. Hence, your children and wards’ mental well-being, health, and growth are vital in their journey to financial literacy and mastery.

(2) Financial Intelligence – Like their emotions, you must also train them to be financially intelligent from a tender age. This can easily be done by starting with the things you allow them to buy or have from their tender ages.

Teach them the difference between wants and needs, and help them to develop enough intelligence to adequately balance this on a wise scale of preference from childhood. Oh, you will be so glad you did this for them much later in life when you start to see and reap the fruits of your labor over them when they’re grown and being astute and fruitful with all your wealth and life’s work.

(3) Financial Plan – You also need to instill in them the unavoidable need to plan before any money comes into their hands because failure to learn this will lead to them squandering any funds that enter their hands.

You must train and show them ways that they can legitimately generate and make money by themselves, and importantly, how to spend the money when it comes, too.

They also need to know how to have long, and short-term plans on how to make and sustain their money and cash flow, especially as they go through the different phases of their lives.

(4) Financial Discipline – Like a financially intelligent person, every child needs to know and understand the apparent differences between what they want and what they need.

This is where the much-needed culture of spending and savings comes in, plus having viable investments. You must help them realize that intentional savings open other doors of wealth creation and sustainability.

That’s what 10-year-old Prince Igwe Duru calls “building wealth, not a business” because, according to him, “anyone can start a business but not every person can build wealth because it requires a level of financial discipline and intentional sacrifices that can’t be made by just about anyone.”

These are values that can be taught, instilled, and developed in every child regardless of age, race, color, religion, or social class and status. And, the sooner we all start and religiously keep to this, the better for us as parents, families, and even the world eventually.

Remain richly blessed always.

Congratulations To An Excellent Public Speaker, Advocate, And, Indeed, The Best Attorney General Nigeria Has Seen In Ages!

Congratulations To An Excellent Public Speaker, Advocate, And, Indeed, The Best Attorney General Nigeria Has Seen In Ages!

Moyo and Sanwolu

In 2019, the Lagos State government in Nigeria needed another astute legal luminary to assume the mantle of its top legal custodian and crusader. On August 20, 2019, that honor fell to you, Mr. Moyosore Jubril Onigbanjo SAN.

Then the Managing Partner of M.J Onigbanjo & Co., you were sworn in as the 16th Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Lagos State, Nigeria, and it has been a roller coaster of different events and achievements ever since.

Honestly, many are always wary and downright afraid of leaving what they’re used to and accepting significant challenges like you did. After serving as Managing Partner of M.J Onigbanjo & Co. for over 20 years, it may have been understandable if you had opted to “stick to familiar waters” by rejecting the appointment – especially seeing how volatile a state like Lagos State can be.

In 2019, the Lagos State government in Nigeria needed another astute legal luminary to assume the mantle of its top legal custodian and on August 20, 2019, that honor fell to Mr. Moyosore Jubril Onigbanjo SAN.

Never known for backing down in the face of difficulty or challenges, though, you gladly left your comfort zone and took up the enormous task of leading the Lagos State Justice Department back to a place where the residents and people of the state would be able to have absolute faith in it again.

While it hasn’t been smooth sailing all through, we must note that your penchant for excellence, exceptional litigation and arbitration skills, and superb interpersonal qualities have stood you out amongst your peers in the country and have made the Lagos State Justice Department an example that every other state has been actively striving to emulate.

This led to the honor bestowed upon you in June 2022, as you were appointed as the Chairman of the Body of Attorneys General of the States of the Federation in Nigeria. A mandate you have gracefully handled and also flourished in ever since.

An alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, and the Harvard Law School, United States of America, Moyosore Jubril Onigbanjo SAN, FCIArb, is an experienced Nigerian lawyer with a demonstrated history of working in the law practice industry.

Hence it indeed did not come as a shock to us when the ESQ Nigerian Legal Awards honored you as the 2022 Attorney General Of The Year during their recently held awards ceremony on November 6, 2022, at the prestigious Landmark Event Centre, Oniru, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Your antecedents and present achievements speak for themselves, and none could ever “overblow” your trumpet because you are genuinely outstanding and unique in all you do.

Mgbeke Media wishes to heartily congratulate you on this latest feather added to your already well-decorated cap. We pray that God will continue to be with and guide you in all your pursuits, ways, and endeavors, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!

Wisdom And Wealth Answer To Value, Not Your Age – Change Your Mindset Today!

Wisdom And Wealth Answer To Value, Not Your Age – Change Your Mindset Today!

It’s always a great experience for me to listen to my son have a good conversation with his uncle Prince Collins T.

Yesterday, they talked about business, wealth creation, and many other related topics, and I wondered if my son was just a 10-year-old boy or an old man hiding inside his young body.

Reflecting on their conversation later through the night, I couldn’t help but remember the words of the wise Elihu who said: “But there is a spirit in man: And the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” – Job ‭32‬:‭8‬.

It was an honor to explore the mind of yet another living legend. And, to have the privilege of sitting down with a young Nigerian-American Visionary who is on track to become history’s next black billionaire is not to be taken lightly.

Igwe Duru, Wenetly Leaders Young Visionary ’22

I received a life-changing message from my son, Igwe. He said, “Uncle, I want to create value and build wealth from it, and not businesses, because when you stand for something, and you take calculated risks, you get more significant rewards and stand out.”

This 10-year-old mind was more determined to learn what it means to create value and be valuable in life. It not only filled me with immense joy and pride but also served up a vital lesson and inspiration I want to share with you today.

What is your dream and purpose in life? What drives and pushes you every day to pursue those goals you’ve set for yourself? My dear, do you know that without creating value and being valuable to others, no amount of money you make can ever give you a meaningful life?

Thomas Edison invented the electric bulb.

If I were to ask you now who was the world’s richest man in 1879 – long before Forbes, you would surely need Google and a few minutes to research before you can answer that, right? However, if I asked you to name the inventor of the telephone, the light bulb, or the first airplane, your intellectual mind would readily remember those men, wouldn’t it?

Do you know why? The former amassed a lot of money and was soon forgotten after he passed on. The latter set of men, however, devoted their lives to something more profound. They sought first to create and be valuable by identifying major human problems and solving them with their inventions. Today, long after they’ve died and been buried, the world still remembers and celebrates them, and their families still benefit from the wealth those inventions generated.

The Creator gifted every one of us with our gifts, talents, and purposes when HE made us. You will be doing yourself and creation a disservice if you’re all concerned about chasing after money and businesses alone instead of seeking to create value for humanity and inevitably profiting from it.

Alexander Graham Bell invented the first telephone device.

Wisdom is no respecter of persons or age, and I again bless God for my charming, intelligent, sophisticated, and incredibly wise Prince Igwe Duru!

Igwe Duru, “Build Wealth Not Bussiness” Author

If a boy this young can apply himself and come up with great words and ideas like these, I believe that you can do so much more, too. Stop limiting yourself and begin to soar above every obstacle before you today!

Remain richly blessed always, amen.

Takeoff, one-third of the rap group Migos, died early Monday after being shot in Houston, TX, USA

Takeoff, one-third of the rap group Migos, died early Monday after being shot in Houston, TX, USA

Such as shame to lose another young person to street violence and prayer for him and his family.

Takeoff, a member of the Atlanta rap trio Migos, was wiped out in Houston on Monday, a representative confirmed to Mgbeke Media. He was 28. The rapper, whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, was known for his fierce and effortlessly agile delivery and long-reaching influence on trap music. This regional subgenre would come to define modern American pop music.

Migos made up of Takeoff, his uncle Quavo, and his cousin. Offset made their swift and towering ascent to the music industry’s top in the early 2010s. While at the time, Quavo and Offset grabbed more attention—for which star they dated or which party they graced—Takeoff quickly emerged as the group’s best rapper.

The three Migos grew up together in Gwinnett County, in suburban Atlanta. In his 2018 song “I Remember,” Takeoff recalled bleak days in which he sold drugs as he watched his friends and family get locked up: “My n****s done had cases after cases / Go to places, come back, break the suitcase down in mama’s basement.”

In their spare time, the three family members started making music together. They pioneered a new version of trap music—a Southern, slow, and menacing form of hip-hop—reliant on nihilistically bare beats, rapid-fire triplet flows, and rousing, absurdist ad-libs. As the trio made a name for themselves locally—by turning up strip clubs and basement parties—they also gained a rabid following online, as regional rap extended its tendrils across blogs, forums, and early social media.

Please, say no to violence!

Professor Uju Anya Yet Again Proves Clearly That The Only Remedy To Evil, Hate Is Good And Love!

Professor Uju Anya Yet Again Proves Clearly That The Only Remedy To Evil, Hate Is Good And Love!

Nigerian-American Professor Uju Anya again hugged major headlines across the globe recently, and this time it was not for another so-called “violent outburst” like her comments about the late British monarch Queen Elizabeth II were tagged a short while before the Queen’s eventual demise.

The US-based professor is in the news this time for her public display and expression of love between her and her lesbian lover, Sirry Alang.

According to reports, Sirry posted a love poem by a famous African-American poet, Audre Lorde, with a loved-up photo of the couple. Uju’s reply to her tweet was equally affectionate as her lover’s.

Many reactions have trailed the couple’s public amorous display online, with many Africans reacting in displeasure to the development. However, there is more to this matter that we see than this.

Nigerian-American Professor Uju Anya was again in the news recently, and this time it was not for comments about the late British monarch Queen Elizabeth II.

Of truth, many may feel right to be disappointed in the professor because of everything she had seemed to stand for in the wake of her controversial tweet about the late Queen Elizabeth II. Uju did remarkably well and made her African roots and heritage proud in more ways than one.

She spoke glowingly about the African culture, keeping our native names no matter where we find ourselves in the diaspora, and boldly condemned colonialism for all it truly is and stands for.

Sadly, though, like the wise men of old have spoken concerning the intricate nature of man and the ordinances that govern our existence: “What you hate, you will fear. What you fear, you will never understand. What you do not understand, you can never conquer. And, what you cannot conquer will conquer you because you will eventually become it!”

So, like the young man who grew to despise his father for having more than one wife but almost always ends up a polygamist himself (either openly or discretely), this is another classic case of despising your perceived oppressor so much only to eventually become like them – either directly, or in your version or way.

Where does the good professor stand – her African heritage or the perks and excesses that the Western world is filled with?

None of our African ancestors and no one on the roots that Uju spoke about with such remarkable passion and pride was ever gay, and neither did they ever condone such an act. On the contrary, to our ancestors, such a union is an abomination, and rightly so, too!

The question now is, where does Uju truly stand? Is she really entirely against Western colonialization and all of it stands for, or she’s only against the parts of it that hurt and do not appeal to her?

The onus is on her to either totally respect those ancestors, roots, and culture she proudly and glowingly extolled in defense of her tweet against the late monarch, or stop with her half-baked ideologies, teachings, Pro-African crusade, or whatever it is she is doing!

Hopefully, she and everyone else will learn from this, too, and understand that you can never overcome evil and hate with anything other than good and love!

The US-based professor is in the news this time for her public display and expression of love between her and her lesbian lover, Sirry Alang

You cannot find genuine love outside God, and even HIS Words and mind regarding such a relationship are crystal clear:

“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” – Romans ‭1:24-28‬.

If the Word of God clearly condemns it this much, and even our African heritage and ancestors despise it as much as we know they do, the question now is, where does the good professor stand – her African heritage and the moral high ground she’s taken in her recent controversy about colonialism, or the perks and excesses that the Western world is filled with?

Meet 12-Year-Old Prince Michael-Alaohuru – Nigerian Royal Arts Maestro Keen To Follow After Leonardo Davinci

Meet 12-Year-Old Prince Michael-Alaohuru – Nigerian Royal Arts Maestro Keen To Follow After Leonardo Davinci

There are quite a few exceptional 12-year-olds who are doing and achieving truly remarkable feats worldwide presently. Still, this particular Prince is a boy with an in-born mastery that is both exceptional and amazing.

Born Prince Michael-Alaohuru, he is a pencil and hyperrealistic artist almost like no other, and the fact that he had no formal or instructive training before he began and mastered his craft attests to this.

Currently, a Basic 8 student at Jarspok Montessori International School Port Harcourt Rivers State in Nigeria, West Africa, Africa, Prince has been drawing for over ten years, and the young maestro has even greater plans for his talent.

“I have been drawing since I was two years old. I started drawing naturally on my own, and it was the drawings of the great Leonardo Davinci I started sketching and practicing with back then,” he revealed.

Speaking about his biggest desire and dream in life, Prince also disclosed: “I want to be one of the world’s greatest pencil and hyperrealistic artists. I see a great future for myself in this, and I’m not planning to branch out of this style of art in the future.”

The down-to-earth, vibrant, and brilliant young boy also disclosed that he would love to study in one of the most renowned Arts universities or institutions in the world and earn a good living off his art pieces within the next five years.

According to his father, Mr. Michael Alaohuru, Prince could go for hours without food or attention from anyone as long as he had a pencil and paper to play with, even when he was just a little over one year old.

“His mother called my attention to this initially, and I started watching him closely afterward. He was so passionate about having his fun toys (pencil and paper), and we figured that he was naturally gifted and inclined towards Fine Arts.

I’ve always supported him and my other children, and constantly push and encourage him to stop at nothing to be the best at his purpose and gifting in life,” Mr. Michael added.

Parents like the Alaohurus and many others like them worldwide give us so much hope and joy, especially with how they’re making outstanding contributions to the lives of their immensely talented children.

A child is a gift from God to you, but you must raise them well and ensure that they find their true purpose in life and fulfill it. May God bless every parent out there fulfilling this special divine mandate and watch over all their children, too…Amen!

Meet Elijah Muhammad Jr. – Amazing 12-Year-Old Cybersecurity Major Making History As The Youngest Black College Student In Oklahoma

Elijah Muhammad Jr. may not look like your average pre-teen, but he is on course to break numerous educational records and make history in Oklahoma, USA, as the youngest Black college student at only 12 years old.

The boy wonder is already a high school senior at Prep One Collegiate Academy and has also enrolled in three courses at Oklahoma City Community College.

An interesting point to note, though, is that Prep One is a homeschool program led by Elijah’s father, Elijah Muhammad Sr., who has proudly stated that the boy is following after his older siblings.

His father also revealed that Elijah is poised to graduate with a high school diploma and a college degree next year.

“He’s graduating with his associate’s degree and his high school diploma at the same time, which will be next year.

Elijah Muhammad Jr. is on course to make history in Oklahoma, USA, as the youngest Black college student at only 12 years old.

“His sister just made history as the youngest graduate from Langston University and Oklahoma Community College with two associate’s degrees on the same day,” Muhammad Sr. disclosed in an interview.

Elijah’s sister, Shania Muhammad, made history when she became the youngest student to obtain an associate degree after graduating from Oklahoma Community College.

Having broken his sister’s record, Elijah is eager to emulate her by landing multiple scholarships to help pay for his education.

According to him: “I’m very excited about getting scholarships because I’ve seen my sister get multiple scholarships, and I was like, man, I can’t wait until I start getting my scholarships.”

He also revealed that many of his classmates were astonished to see someone his age taking classes with them. “A bunch of them were like, ‘How old are you? Once I told them my age, they all got surprised,” Elijah said.

Registered as a cybersecurity major, Elijah is currently taking the following courses: Computer Hardware, Intro to Computer Technology, and Computer Operating Systems.

Along with making history as the youngest student to attend college in Oklahoma, Elijah also bested the average Black high school senior with his 17 composite ACT score.

Following that remarkable achievement, a historically Black college in Mississippi called Rust College awarded him a full scholarship. And according to his father, he will undoubtedly be going to an HBCU to follow in his mother’s legacy.

Muhammad Sr. further revealed that Elijah’s mother recently earned her doctorate from Hampton University and currently serves as an assistant professor and director of operations at Langston University.

On the other hand, Elijah revealed that he is still keeping his options open as he is yet to decide where he will be attending school.

When quizzed about it, he said: “I heard Hampton does have a good cybersecurity program, but I’m just exploring my options right now.”

This boy’s extraordinary story shows everyone that there are tremendous and extremely limitless potentials and blessings that being united and purposeful as a family can bring.

Much credit also goes to Elijah’s father, who is apparently very invested in developing and progressing his children’s innate abilities. We believe that every father out there in the world should emulate him.
